I made a purchase at Arnolds Furniture in San Diego, California (The Miramar Rd. Store). I bought a sofa at 0% interest for one year.
When the time was up, I never received a bill/statement as to the amount I owed. So, I called up the store and paid the amount in
full. Household Retail Services gave me a negative point on my credit report which will not be clear until 2005.
This is destroying my credit.
(Report pulled from our archives. Received August 1998 by Household Watch. Is this still going on today at Household? Consumer reports indicate that it is!)
