Oh my Goodness - I am not alone, huh?
It does not matter when I send my payment, it is ALWAYS reported late and with a $ 25.00 late fee - EVERY MONTH - It seems that HRS probably never, ever shows an account as current - they get to tack on 25.00 every month - no matter what! Even during the whole Anthrax scare and mail was delayed with everyone - they are the only creditor between my business and home that did not waive late fees - even during that time that everyone was being understanding!
Interestingly enough, I opened a charge to buy a pool at Namco two years ago. I was told it was 6 months interest fee and payment free - to which - I received a bill from HRS on month #2 with a payment due! I fought and fought with HRS and Namco and during the dispute - was turned over the collection bureau which now has a negative comment on my credit - WHICH WAS PERFECT BEFORE HRS
So, I have this negative report but lo and behold - I opened up a charge at Service Merchandise last year - was given 4500 in open credit line on the spot! And, guess what? The bill came in the following month and it was HRS again! Not only do they ruin your credit and not only do they rip off consumers -but they KNOW THEY DO IT SO MUCH THEY IGNORED THEIR OWN REPORTING ON MY CREDIT HISTORY BECAUSE THEY KNOW HOW BOGUS THEIR REPORTING IS!
How can we fight this company to get our money back - we know they are guilty of consumer deception and fraud - HELP
