I believe I am a victim of these circumstances. I made a purchase of 2700 in october of 1999 and received continuous statements until 2 months before it was due in oct of 2000.

It was at sound advice in aventura florida. I pulled a credit report on myself and contacted HRS and was referred to corporate receivables in which i was told to pay 3400. I paid it because I didnt want it to linger too long. I wrote a letter to sound advice telling them about this problem and have yet to hear back.
