I just purchased furniture and was financed via Household retail services. I have been told that bills have been coming for 3 months but I have yet to receive ONE! I have asked for duplicate bills to be sent to my parents address yet no statements are coming.
My purchase was on 12 months no interest, the telephone reps are telling me it is a regular purchase with no promo. I have called/faxed/mailed copies of my Marlo Invoice that clearly states 12 months no interest as well as a SAME AS CASH Disclosure statement yet they can not and will not fix my account.
There is a serious problem with these people!!!!!! I am about to pay it off now just to avoid future problems with the company.
Editor's note: Household Watch is concerned that all interest may be due on this account since the customer did not make "minimum monthly payments" during the promotional period.
