Whether the wave radio sounds good is up to the individual. The financing by predatory lender Household International, now called HSBC Finance Corporation, certainlydoesn't sound good.
Bose Preferred Credit Card is Household International. Minimum Default APR 23.8%. The variable Standard Rate APR for Accounts which are kept current is Prime Rate + 12.5 percentage points (19.8%)
It was music to their ears when consumers learned that Household settled for US$11 million when charged with crediting payments late in order to collect illegal late charges, overlimit fees, and interest. Household - HSBC neither admitted nor denied the charges. They also made it very difficult for consumers to collect based on the requirements under the settlement.
Bose customers are reminded that one late payment during an interest free promotion negates the contract and all interest is due. If you send your payment 12 days early and it is credited one day late there is very little you can do.
