HSBC definition of active duty military only means deployed personnel

SS in Hawaii said: “I have been active duty Navy since 1992. I currently have A GM Card. in March of 2009 I received a letter from HSBC stating that my APR will remain 6% as long as I am on “active duty”. I retitre in 2012. With no avail my APR jumped to 16% and now it is 21.99% I called HSBC and they said that I am not on active duty and that active duty is only deployed.”

Editor’s Note: I must mention our prior articles about HSBC’s abuse of the U.S. military.
