HSBC Bank USA, N.A. has appointed Ashley Parker, an international banker with over 27 years finance industry experience, to run its New York City branch operations. He replaces James Emmett who recently relocated to Hong Kong to undertake a strategic role for the HSBC Group. Parker joined HSBC in 1994. Prior to that he worked for a number of Australian banking and financial services organizations.

Parker will oversee some 117 branches across the five boroughs of New York City with around 1400 staff. He is responsible for growing HSBC’s retail banking business and ensuring it delivers a consistently superior level of customer experience for all customers who utilize branch services.
