IB in Massachusetts sent this information about Tom Detelich: “As I was reviewing the posting about Thomas Detlich resigning I did some research and found confirmation that he did in fact resign from his position. In my opinion he was forced out by HSBC.
Here is the official notification as it was published on businessweek.com. Also found his home listed for sale on zillow.com in Illinois.
HSBC Finance Corp. Announces Executive Changes
08/4/2009On July 23, 2009, the board of directors of HSBC Finance Corp. approved the resignation of Thomas Detelich as President, Consumer & Mortgage Lending and the appointment of Kathryn Madison to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Servicing Officer, Consumer & Mortgage Lending, both effective July 31, 2009. The board of directors also approved the resignation of Susan Jewell as Executive Vice President and General Counsel and authorized and approved a change in the title of Patrick Schwartz to Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, both effective June 4, 2009. Ms. Madison and Mr. Schwartz are deemed Policy Making Officers of HSBC Finance Corp. Prior to their resignations, Ms. Jewell and Mr. Detelich were deemed Policy Making Officer of HSBC Finance Corp.
