KM in New Mexico said: “Beneficial holds the mortgage to my home, both my husband and I lost jobs and found work again only at half our past income. I have been trying to work with Beneficial for the last six months on lowering our monthly payments. Unfortunitaly they refuse to work with us, they claim that with our current income of $21,000 a year we can certainly pay $1500.00 a month. I can’t even speak to someone in charge. This is an absolute joke. Is there any way out of this mess, short of filing chapter 7?”
