KA in Illinois said: “I have an account with HSBC thru Furniture Row, first the case of no payments, no interest for 3 years is not true. But once I started making payments,I am getting harassing collection calls. I received one today that said my payment was 15 days past due, however the CURRENT statement I had said payment wasn’t due for 10 more days. I called to see what the problem was and they said my online payment last month was rejected. Asked if they tried to contact me so I could fix the problem, which was nothing more than one number off in my bank account, they said they do not contact people??? I had no idea anything was wrong until the unnerving collection call this morning.
How do they expect people to fix a simple mistake if they don’t let them know there is a problem? They have posted to my credit report, the only thing on my credit report too!! I just would like to know where to turn to now, I don’t seem to be getting anywhere with them.”
