HSBC Consumer Annoyance Department

HSBC Consumer Annoyance DepartmentMeet Jen from the Problem Solvers Team

Hi, I'm Jen and I'm here to help. Submit your complaint here or get help here

DA reports:  “I’ve been getting two to six calls a day from 800.446.1022.  When I finally tracked down the number through the 800 directory service, that number was listed as the HSBC Consumer Annoyance Department.  What’s that about?  Honesty if it is HSBC, but when were they honest?”

Editor’s Note:  800-446-1022 is from HSBC’s telemarketing division. They are calling to sell you other services (unemployment insurance for your credit cards, credit card upgrades, etc.).

For four months we had gotten recorded messages from HSBC like, “Please hold on for a very important call…” twice a day phone: 800-568-0156. Calls originated from India. After a month of requesting that they not call — as I have no account with them that is overdue — eventually I started reporting every call to the Federal “Do Not Call Registry” and eventually they stopped. Very creepy!

Do a search on Google for 188-446-1022. You will be amazed at the number of complaints.

A worker by the name of Jessie needs to be fired. Very rude and arrogant. Likely in India. I pray that this gets back to his supervisors and him.

    Regards

A concerned consumer and new cardholder of HSBC Master Card. Will likely cut card in two and move on due to telemarketing practices of HSBC.

Try doing a search on Google inputting
    800-446-1022.   Mega complaints

HSBC has a telemarketer by the name of
Jessie that should be terminated.  He is extremely rude and arrogant in
nature.   Likely calling out of the India call center.  I have
high hopes that this information gets to his superiors.  Also hoping he
    gets fired.

due to the telemarketing practices of HSBC.  Cutting card in two as I type
    this post.

Trying the HTML one more time as it still
would not take the breaks between paragraphs, so I used lines and color this
    time.
