AL in Karnataka, India says: “I have 4 HSBC accounts, 2 Corporate (1 in Hong Kong, 1 in India) , and 2 personal accounts in same countries…I have been really ripped off with bank charges and all my mails / complaints for past 4 months which I have resent at least 7 times remain totally ignored and no replies, apologies or even a courteous explanation. I have been dealing with HSBC for the past 15 years and their service has just gotten worse and worse over the years. I really want to change banks but it is difficult as I live in India and my main account is in Hong Kong and as an ex-pat living and running a busines in India …this would entail so many formalities and problems so I have to grind my teeth and bare …..but I am so looking forward to the day I can tell them to shut the account or run it to the ground in an overdraft …But alas you can never win with these guys ….I also deal with Siam Commercial Bank in Thailand…much, much better Bank any day.”
