Ao in California reports:  “I purchased a new motorcycle on Dec. 16 2006 about 30 days went by I received my dmv stickers and registration .  I started to wonder what’s going on so i called the dealership and they called HSBC.   The dealer called me back and said they had a wrong mailing adress.  How could that be?   I got all my dmv papers.   They told me it was taken care of.  Another week goes by still nothing so I call them only to be greeted by a rude call center asking me why didnt you pay online or pay fifteen dollars over the phone .  Long story short I haven’t received not one statement about my account and I am charged 30 dollar late fees and my next payment is due also just yesterday I started to recieve collection calls from the same call center girl i spoke with .  She wants to know when I’m gonna have the money!  I told her my money is in the account how can i make a payment I dont even know nothing about my credit account?  I will persue this at least on my part.”
