RS said: “I always send in my payment by check on time and when i received the following bill it showed that they never received the payment from my bank. HSBC said the payment was returned for insufficent funds, HSBC tacked other late fees also. I immediately called my bank to see why the check wasn’t paid and they told me that they have no record of HSBC asking for payment on that specific check.

My bank said that check never went into their system for payment. I was able to clear this issue up by sending in a copy of the check, and letters from my bank. All late fees and charges were returned to me. It took a long time to clear this issue but one lesson I did learn was never to use this HSBC credit card again! BEWARE!”
