HSBC will not offer Obama Plan modifications, not participating

TE in Ohio said: “Just a heads up!!! HFC (member of HSBC group) will not offer mortgage holders the loan re-modification option under the Obama plan effective 3/4/09. I just called as I lost my job and was under their hardship program but am gradually still sinking. The rep said that the program is not mandatory and they are not participating. Go figure.”
