HH in Massachusetts said: “I had a hsbc credit card for several years, never late, never over limit(not even close)always paid more than minimum, had my limit reduced from $2,500 to $600, card balance is $560, called to ask why. HSBC just said re-evaluation on all customers accounts, so I asked them to cancel the card. They said they could but my interest rate would go up, so just transfered my balance (much lower rate) will wait until 0 shows up online then cancel, but now my credit score has dropped due to this decrease. GOOD BUY HSBC.”
