That HSBC 18003952274 number calls my cell anywhere from 8-16 times a day. No one is on the line, then I get a computer, hung up on, or dead air.

Best Buy Card Declined at Register
From N.Y. in Florida
Here’s the message:
We have a complaint about HSBC and Best Buy. We visited a Best Buy today to make a purchase on our HSBC issued Best Buy card. When we attempted to pay, the card was declined. We had not used our card for over a year and owed nothing. The clerk stated this was the reason our card was declined.
I called the Best Buy Customer service to inquire why we had not been notified that the card had been deactivated. All I received was an apology for “the inconvenience”. I asked several times why we were not notified, but never received a straight answer.
The HSBC account web site stated our account was “being re-evaluated.”
Although we are not out any money, it’s just the principle of the matter. Bottom line: their customer service is very poor. It will be a LONG time before we shop at Best Buy. Plus after reading the information on your web site, I never want to deal with HSBC again.
