WC in Pennsylvania said: “I have been at odds with Orchard Bank (HSBC Card Services) for over seven months now about a bogus charge, but they refuse to look at the true facts and keep stone-walling me. I requested to appeal to a higher authority for review of the facts, BUT HSBC will not furnish me with any address to do this, no matter how much I plead for this.
HSBC AccountSecurePlus fees violate new law
EL in Washington said: “HSBC has been my credit card provider since 2007. They have charged me overlimit fees which were triggered by a fee for a service on my credit card called AccountSecurePlus. HSBC sold me this service to supposedly protect me if I lost my job. They would subtract the fee amount from my account at different times of the month. If I was close to my credit limit (which was very low) they would pull the fee out at the closing date of the statement, which would put me at an overlimit fee.
Davids Bridal priority mail payment lost by HSBC
DL in Indiana said: “Don’t use David’s Bridal with this HSBC company, or any other company for that matter. 24.9% interest. I sent HSBC a payment priority mail and they claim they LOST it. Had to get half nasty with them on the phone to FIND this check, which they did after 13 days and it didn’t clear my account for 16 days. And I don’t know yet, but I bet they try to nail me with a late fee that I will refuse to pay. HSBC customer service reps are horrible to deal with, absolutely NO help. I also sent HSBC TWO faxes which they claim they never received. I’ve read numerous horrible stories about this company – they ought to be shut down.”
