CS in Arkansas said: “I recently signed up to view my credit report online and I noticed that one of the debtors listed was from a HSBC RS stating I had an overdue balance of $1382.00 from acct. #5510001XXXX. Of course this raises a concern to me because I only have one HSBC credit card but my balance is only $500.00 on that.
BMin texas said: “this is a complaint with regard to my father’s Credit Union account. He is not now, nor has he ever been a customer of HSBC RS, however he was a victim of their practices this month. In the course of monitoring his checking and savings accounts he discovered a discrepancy. His checking account had been emptied.
Sylvia in California said: “I have a complaint with HSBC Household bank. I sent payment before my statment closed, and before the 1st payment was ever due. I sent a Money order from Irvine, CA to HSBC overnight address in Pomona, CA (25 miles away) and not only have they not posted my payment, but the statment has now closed 1 week later and I get an over the limit because they did not apply my payment till a week later. Is this fair practice?”
