The HSBC loan modification run around

RS in New Hampshire said: “I have been living in my home for three years now. I have been using HSBC, but in the past year have had so many problems with them. Eight months I began inquiring about loan modifications due to my girfriend getting laid off, and having a baby.

At first HSBC told me I don’t make enough money for a loan modification, however six months ago they told me I began qualifying. To date they have not helped me with a modification, every month they tell me I need to fill out a new “hardship package”.

I submit everything HSBC asks for, and follow up several times a week. Every time I call they give me the run around about processing it, until they then tell me they need more up to date information.”
