It appears as though some Household Finance Corporation offices are using Comcast Business for their Internet access. One recent visitor to Household – HSBC Watch alerted us to this fact using United States – Pennsylvania – Perkasie – Comcast Business Communications Inc. Whether this is funded and paid for by HSBC and HSBC Finance Corporation (the old predatory Household International) remains to be seen. The fact is that these HFC offices do not go through the corporate firewall and thus are untrackable by the parent corporation. Is this a security leak? Does it thwart efforts by their head of IT Andrew Armishaw? A possible rogue office like Bellingham? You heard it here first at Household – HSBC Watch.

HFC is a Comcast product which stands for Hybrid Fiber Coax. It has nothing to do with HSBC. It is a product for small to medium sized business.
