There is an error on my credit report. I am [name] and my social security number is [number.] The error is on my Trans Union credit report as follows:
This is why the account is in error:
Household Retail Services reports the same account differently to Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union. In fact, consumers report that an open account with a $3000 balance is often interpreted by underwriters as three open accounts because of the difference. In addition to reporting the error on my credit report, I encourage your company to demand uniform and consistant reporting from Household International and subsidiaries thereof.

Why isn’t a class action open to enjoin the credit bureaus from reporting any information from Household Bank and its sisters, as it is obviosly and knowingly suspect information. Also, individually, a small claims case can succeed (and it worked out for me).
I’ve found an HSBC NV account on my credit report showing late payments.
I’ve never had this account let alone ever made late payments!!!
